Legibility

With the zoom function you can enlarge or reduce the appearance of a web page. In contrast to changing the font size, the zoom function enlarges or reduces everything on the page, including text and images.

Adjusting the font size of a web page can:

VIA THE BROWSER MENU

 

  • Internet Explorer

Click View in the menu and then click on Font Size. You can then enlarge or reduce the font.
Or press the gear and then Zoom in and out.

  • Mozilla Firefox

Click on View in the menu and afterwards on Zoom. You can then zoom in or out.
Or press the burger menu and then Zoom

  • Google Chrome

Click on the 3 dots at the top right of the window. You can zoom in or out via Zoom.

  • Safari

Click View at the top left of the menu bar. Then select Zoom in or Zoom out.
To enlarge just the text and not the rest of the webpage, click Zoom Text Only

WITH THE MOUSE

Hold down the CTRL key (Windows) / Hold down the CMD key (Mac)
Then move the mouse wheel forward (away from you) to zoom in.
Move the mouse wheel backward (towards you) to zoom out.

WITH THE KEYBOARD

Hold down the CTRL key (Windows) / Hold down the CMD key (Mac)
Then press the '+' key to zoom.
Press the '-'- key to zoom out.
